Acting as your single point of responsibility, we ensure the finished home reflects the design intent, with consistency in every detail. Typically we expect 2-3 months for design, engineering and preliminary budgeting. Once you sign off on these items, we expect up to 3 months for permit approvals then 9-12 months for construction depending on the scope and size of the project.
We start by working with you to get a clear understanding of your goals and budget to ensure we can design something you can afford and be proud of. Working through multiple stages of design and drafting options for you allows a chance to make adjustments as we go. By working in 2D and 3D in parallel, you will have a thorough understanding of design direction every step of the way.
Every project is different and your needs will vary greatly from another. In order to deliver a personalized experience and ensure you get exactly what you need, we work on an hourly model. We will provide estimates based on previous comparable projects to guide expectations, but we believe this approach works best for everyone to get the most for your hard earned money.
Once your design is finished, we can suggest a reputable builder or you can take the plans to your builder of choice. We are happy to work together with the build team while planning your project and right through construction. Adding construction administration to our scope allows us to provide periodic inspections during the build to better support you and the build team. This ensures questions are answered in a timely manner, changes can be made to reflect jobsite conditions and provide feedback to help the design come to life in the way it was intended.
