It starts with an idea: a modest family home set in the woods.
The vision was to design a place that balanced comfort, function, and inspiration without relying on excess. From the earliest sketches, the priority was clear—create a home that felt grounded and inviting, yet could be built with straightforward, economical practices.
The approach centered on efficiency. A pared-down form reduced both complexity and cost, while highlighting the structure itself gave the design its voice. Instead of covering the bones of the house, the materials and framework became part of the experience. Every beam, joint, and surface plays a role in shaping the modern, minimalist aesthetic.
This way of building does more than keep expenses in check. It creates spaces that are uncluttered and purposeful, with room for family life to take center stage. The house proves that restraint in design does not mean compromise. With thoughtful decisions, simplicity feels rich, and practicality leads to beauty.
