Contemporary Addition
Often seen in older communities, this 1930’s house included just one bathroom on the main level and an attic converted to a primary bedroom. With a growing family and a love for cooking, we were challenged with adding an ensuite to the primary bedroom as well as a new dining room and larger kitchen.
By adding some stairs we were able to gain full height ceilings in the basement as well as including all the spaces needed to meet the families needs. Utilizing a modern shape and contrasting materials we created a unique addition without sacrificing the character of this beautiful old house.
