Jackson Leidenfrost

Jackson has worked in the residential construction industry since 2008 where he started as an apprentice carpenter in Vancouver. Through his apprenticeship, Jackson developed a diverse understanding of carpentry working on everything from architectural concrete to fine finishing, as well as production framing and foundations.

After completing his Red Seal Certification in Carpentry, Jackson set his sights on Project Management and Design. This began 6 years managing custom homes, commercial renovations and multi-family development, working closely with clients, contractors and design teams from Calgary, Vancouver, Victoria and around Vancouver Island.

The inspiration for HYGGE Design Inc. was to use this knowledge and experience to design and build beautiful spaces with a personalized process to meet individual needs. Jackson’s ability to plan, design, manage and build a project ensures a cohesive approach uncommon in the industry today.

Taking direction from the Norwegian idea of hygge (hoo-gah), every design strives to bring a cozy, comfortable and content feel to each project. How you feel in the space we create when everything is done is something to be considered every step of the way.
